Women in Design is an artist book created for a research scholarship I received during the 2021-2022 academic year. It highlights twelve under-recognized female designers, with information about each woman's life, work, and impact on the design field. The book also includes letterpress-printed portraits of the designers, which were based on photos I digitally edited with Adobe Photoshop. I turned these digital portraits into print matrices, then used them for pressure printing. I laid out the text in Adobe InDesign and bound the books by hand, making hard- and soft-cover editions.
